Great game as the Gnomes defeated the Brewers 11-9.  Always a tough game with those guys.  After a slow start is was great to see the bats and defense come alive.  Great pitching by Randy and Matt.

New Season

“Just for the sake of doing it. . .I’m not going to wait until we have a 6-8 record to give my motivational talk. As you know we had a sweet team by the end of last season. Pitching was good (matty led the whole rotation staff and didnt walk many people), hitting was good (randy was clutch getting us a huge hit tto get us a win at the end of the season), defense was great (third base had two gold glove vacuum cleaners). i think with the new uniforms we are getting, we will play even better. please, let’s win our first game of the season. we are playing some new girl scout team and we need to get them to think they lost the game as soon as they get on the field. i want to go to playoffs again. so be ready. be well rested. let’s make the end of the season easier on us by taking a few wins now”
